I’m a journalist and visual storyteller focused on long-form reporting, editorial design, photography, and multimedia storytelling. Growing up on a ranch in California shaped the way I approach stories. It taught me to slow down, pay attention, and look for meaning in the details people often overlook. That perspective still influences the kind of work I care most about today.
I’m drawn to environmental and community-centered storytelling, documentary-style journalism, and stories connected to land, memory, and identity. My work blends writing, photography, design, and visual production to create stories that feel thoughtful, grounded, and visually intentional rather than rushed through for quick turnover.
I’ve reported and photographed feature stories for The OU Daily and produced multimedia conservation work in collaboration with the Oklahoma City Zoo and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. I also have experience creating editorial layouts, branded graphics, and multimedia content for freelance and client projects using Adobe Creative Suite.
Whether I’m writing, photographing, or designing, I care about creating work that leaves people with a stronger sense of connection to a place, a person, or a story. Currently seeking opportunities in editorial, visual journalism, documentary, design, or multimedia storytelling.
